Quote from Come Hither: The Commonsense Guide to Kinky Sexy by Dr. Gloria G. Brame (2000). Photo from Bondage Photographer Vol 1 No 6 (1990).
East Asian woman with a bob haircut, wearing silver hoop earrings, and a thick leather collar with 2 D rings. Her arms are chained above her head out of shot. Text: [Labels are both good and bad. What's bad about them is that they emphasize the differences among kinky people and not the shared experiences. When I see people expend huge amounts of energy splitting hairs over definitions, I wonder if their real goal is to create distinctions between what they do (what they find acceptable) and what others do (what makes them uncomfortable).]

Lawrence Grey aka Mouser was an actor, poet, trans leatherman, and bard of the British Druid Order and the SCA.
[Lawrence Grey (Mouser) May 17, 1951 - October 11, 2009. Mouser died of tongue and throat cancer on October 11, 2009 at 10:22 pm. Mouser was a wonderful guy. He was the first transgender person I knew and was much more himself after the transition. He was a member of the Seattle Leather community, an actor, poet, bard of the British Druid Order and the SCA, tarot reader and a Wiccan priest in multiple traditions. He was a friend to all animals and helped many strays to have a better life. He passed away surrounded by family and friends in Encino, California. They were able to have time for one more game of Yahtzee, and Mouser won. He will be missed.

He is survived by his son and his brother, Doug, and many friends.

A Wiccan memorial service will be held for his communities here in Seattle on Friday, October 23 at the Central Lutheran Church at 8:30pm. The address is 11th and E. Olive, at 1710 11th Ave, and an Irish wake afterwards at the Cuff patio at E. Pine and 13th (there will be a $5 cover). Please bring any pictures of Mouser and stories, poems or songs to share that make you think of Mouser.]
