It’s blatantly transparent that Trump’s sole motive for negotiating a peace agreement in Gaza was to try to win the Nobel. Probably because he can’t stand that Obama has something he doesn’t.
If you insist that you earned the Nobel Peace Prize, you don’t deserve it.

I have a bad feeling that when this is over, America will no longer be the top dog in the world. Not militarily, financially, or culturally.

To American cities will hurt the military’s image and cut support from civilian employers who won’t support the troops any longer.
I have faith that the military won’t be turned into Trump’s Brownshirt brigade any time soon, but we still need to be cautious.

The military by making it Aryan, hypermasculine, jingoistic force is only going to weaken it.
The tone being hostile to women and POC is going to decrease recruitment, the toughening of standards and removing of barriers to protect troops will make retention harder, and sending National Guard

I’m listening to an NPR segment on the #Hegseth speech Tuesday. While it’s patently clear that Hegseth and Trump’s talk about “the enemy within” and the warrior ethos is dangerous lunacy, and Hegseth’s firing of JAG officers is especially frightening it strikes me that their efforts to “toughen”
