I adore Cave, I think his run from TENDER PREY to THE BOATMAN'S CALL is one of rock music's greatest hot streaks, and I think a lot of his later-period stuff is really interesting.

NO MORE is easily his weakest, most muddled album IMO. A clear transitional work where he's trying a lot of stuff.

I've said this before, but I'm pretty sure I've heard this album more than any of the band members have at this point.

The album cover of GILT by Machines of Loving Grace. A blonde lady, clad in a burgundy jacket and a burgundy skirt cut just above the knee, is lying on the roof of a car. The jacket has opened to reveal a white silk blouse. Her eyes are closed, and the windshield of the car is shattered. The intimation is that she has jumped to her death from a great height and landed on the roof of the car.
