I never felt my Pixel 8 ran hot, maybe slightly warm, on 5G, doing normal stuff, even taking pictures and videos and them being uploaded to Google Photos, etc.

But my Pixel 10 is clearly cooler even on strict 5G only usage under almost all scenarios. Yay. #Pixel10. #TeamPixel.

It still does this. It WILL go for a longer stretch without the Gmail widget forgetting it is supposed to refresh, maybe 5-6 days, now. I think it is related to adaptive battery just killing the refresh service after a while.

Never had this problem on my Pixel 8. #Android16.

I wish the Gmail widget on my Pixel 10 would actually consistently refresh when new email arrives or is deleted. I can get it to work for a few days but then it just stops. If I clear cache and reboot it works again for a few days. Might be adaptive battery? #Android16. #Gmail.

I think I like it. Anything is better than the same-y four-color icons we have now. I never really liked those because they made the cognitive load of discerning the individual apps from each other much too high.

I would say that I hate Standard Time (and I do), but, honestly, I am just sick and tired of having to adjust to ANY time change. It is disrupting as hell and it screws my already tenuous sleep quality for a week or more.

But our government will do nothing about it. Useless.

My son's Pixel 9a took this shot at 2x crop. I like the sensor in the Pixel 9a and base Pixel 10 even if it technically a "downgrade" from my base Pixel 8.

I am really liking my Pixel 10. It is fast and smooth. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is so fast and I am really enjoying finally having a dedicated telephoto. Even at 20x it is doing some Super Res Zoom magic and pictures look quite good. Not like an oil painting. #TeamPixel.

I feel like the base Pixel 10 should be $100 less and/or make 256 GB the default, but I also feel it is extremely underrated as a smartphone.

I am just going to stick with my Pixel Watch 2 LTE from now on until Google actually decides to support their watches like competitors do. 5+ years at minimum.

Yay. Sold my daughter's Pixel 7, today. Got $185.

After fees and such it was $172.

So if we subtract that from what I paid for my 256 GB Pixel 10 ($170 after many discounts and selling my P8 to a buddy) I actually made $2 by buying it. #TeamPixel. #GooglePixel. #PixelSuperFans.

Did you notice only the Pixel 10 series has the blur when you swipe up to go home? Every other Pixel in my household on @Android 16 QPR1 has no blur at all when you swipe up to go home. Really hope that is not a Pixel 10 exclusive. #TeamPixel. #GooglePixel. #PixelSuperFans.

Finally got both my Pixel Watch 2 LTE and Fitbit Inspire 3 paired to my Pixel 10 at once. It is such a pain that you cannot just do it by default and you have to cheat the setup to get it to work. Why would Google NOT want people to buy even more of their devices? #GooglePixel.
