Finally, Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong. I just finished it so I’m still totally torn by this film! It felt compelling and real and UNFINISHED. Which I think was kind of the point but argh!! Someone else who has seen this please talk to be about it.

But I HIGHLY recommend Stay the Night, my next watch. I expected it to be more quirky, but it leaned into serious and yet somehow it worked. The lead actors were really compelling. Not sure how I missed this one but I’m glad I found it.

Next up was the very forgettable Five First Dates. Loved the Australian accents. But otherwise, neither the plot nor the characters were very compelling. But it wasn’t even cheesy or bizarre enough to have that Hallmark movie “so bad it’s good” charm. Would not recommend.

I watched SO MUCH tv today! I needed to disconnect and reset so I just dove in. First up was My Fault London. I knew I would like it having watched the Spanish version. Honestly this one was an improvement? Full marks!

I’m trying out Tempest because I’ve seen some good chatter from kdrama people but so far I’m struggling to get over the fact that our heroine is not more distrustful of this guy. Like, come on!

Every time I get a booster I’m reminded of the total relief when I got my first shot in March 2021. And of the fact that I used how terrible I felt as an excuse to finally binge Goblin, the my gaping hole in my kdrama watch list at the time
