I did not sign up for this when I came back to Brittany to recover from cancer/stress but there is nobody else

Miss Daisy is suffering paranoid psychotic episodes
Last night was truly terrible
No details, not my place to share, but suffice to say I spoke to her nurse and told her to get the GP out tomorrow
I fear for the safety of them both, and I want her admitted to a secure unit

I managed to get Parker's spinal injections to relieve his pain
It has talken me 7 months, countless calls/emails/.visits to every hospital in a 200 radius but I did it and he is feeling so much better

This year has flow by (no pun intended) but next year I will make time to take a boat trip to Les Sept Iles to smile at the puffins nesting there in spring/summer

Yesterday afternoon was spent grooming Socrates and strimming one of the paddocks to try to control creeping buttercups. I guess I'm not ready yet?
Maybe give it another couple of years?

I still shudder when I think of that day in Jan 2018 when I managed to set fire, not only to my chimney, but also the roof and the insulation in a bedroom
Three different fire crews arrived to save my house
The neighbours had a grand time watching, chatting and sipping cognac

It was always required by insurers to be done annually
Now it is a legal req.
Messages are going round: "Have P&J finished at yours?"
I may create an app to track the sweeps
We live in such exciting times

A true nerd, on the way back from Plerin I explained to my driver: quantum physics, the Higgs Boson, and the best way to assasinate a corrupt govt leader using a drone the size of a bee, some nerve agent and a set of golf clubs😉

The barn owls are, once again, using my roof as a rest area so more spooky sounds of heavy breathing as I lie in bed

Several hours spent in the radiology dept at the hospital at Plerin...
All I could think was, "Better it should happen to an old person than a young child" which is what kept me going in 2015 when I first had breast cancer
1 in 2 people will get cancer now
It's a health crisis govts are ignoring
