I took a total break from BlueSky.

Looking down on the spire of St Just in Roseland and towards the tidal creek that the 13th century church sits alongside.
To the left are acanthus flowers which grow well in Cornwall. The gardens are planted with semitropical shrubs and trees. There are boats alongside the creek and the hills of the Roseland Peninsular in the distance.

The weather has been very dull the last few days so I’m posting another photo from Winkworth Arboretum last week where the sun was shining and the autumn colours starting.

The steps lead from the boat house up the steep hill towards the cafe ☕️.
They are called the Azalea Steps because in the spring they are surrounded by a sea of pink azaleas.

The Pelicans at St James Park in London all have names. I believe these three are Sun, Moon and Star.

A very wet day in the Lake District near Ashness Bridge overlooking Derwentwater. The stream was flowing swiftly down the fell over the black rocks.

The island can only be reached by boat at high tide.
In my photo there are rock pools in the foreground covered in seaweed. People are walking along the causeway or on the sand. In the distance the castle is at the top of the island surrounded by trees, gardens and houses.
The cloudy with patches of blue sky add to the atmosphere of the island.
The castle is topped with a flag.

Close to the South Porch of Hambledon Church is this Yew Tree which is thought to be around 1000 years old. It is hollow.
