I'm stranded in Copenhagen. They have me booked on a fucking flight home from Krakow, ten hours and they're not going to give me a meal.

All this because fucking @flysas.com can't get its shit together. If you have any kind of disability, stay far, FAR away from this airline. They're awful.
Can airlines get their goddamn shit together and have consistent information? Fucking hell, it's like different instructions on the website, the app, and at the airport
My favorite memento from this trip. I can't believe I actually got to see my favorite dancers perform my favorite ballet adaptation of a book (and they were coached by another one of my favorite dancers!)

The Royal Ballet is truly my home away from home. I hope to visit again soon 😊 #ROH #ballet
Flying back to the authoritarian hellhole that is the United States (I hate my home country and I make sure everyone knows I don't live there by choice)
I had the security guards sign my book too and I got a photo with them, because they were awesome.

Working class people, the unsung heroes who keep the world running.
Nctui Gatwa seems nice. We had a brief exchange about the Royal Ballet and I got to fangirl about Joseph Sissens.

Edward Bluemel was also very kind and much more soft spoken. He also seemed quite tired after such an intense performance. (Cont'd)
I saw SO many people asking for multiple autographs and both selfies and autographs. A lot of y'all don't know how to act and treat actors like your personal playthings instead of human beings. Like that's a fuckin stranger. Why are you acting like an entitled dipshit? Jesus (cont'd)
"Not all..." Oh, more than enough. I got poked, prodded, elbowed, shoved, and had my damn ass grabbed.

Then there's the lack of respect shown to working class people. We were told: pictures OR autographs. But because it's mostly white women, they decided rules didn't apply to them (cont'd)
I saw Born with Teeth and it was phenomenal. Nctui Gatwa and Edward Bluemel were incredible. Just an all around incredible production.

That being said, I am NEVER stage dooring a play starring a person known to a fandom again b/c fandom people are fuckin gross (cont'd)
The random ballet nerd from the States who some of the dancers knew by the way, because I am that much of a nerd 🤣
I love that there's literally no ballet fandom (it's so fucking refreshing). However, it's quite hilarious that at last night's stage door there were literally: family members of the dancers, close personal friends of the dancers, and me the random ballet nerd from the States.
Just about to turn in for the night, but I ran into Ed Watson again tonight (I adore that man). I also got to meet two more of my favorite dancers: Joseph Sissens (who is phenomenal) and Anna Rose O'Sullivan (who is also amazing).
Pictured: my inner child healing. In one of the front rows of the ballet (I've watched so many productions filmed in this very theater).

So far, "Like Water for Chocolate" is truly incredible. Anna Rose O'Sullivan and Joseph Sissens are magical.
My queen. Queen Boudicca of the Iceni. A personal hero of mine
Did I run out into the night a half hour before Waterstones closed to pick up some books that are next to impossible to get in the states (if you refuse to give money to a union busting fascist. Fuck Jeff Bezos. I hope he dies).

Of course I did! 😁
When you get an unexpected upgrade for your second flight and they let you into a swanky lounge, but your working class anarchist ass feels completely out of place so you just kinda sit there awkwardly and watch the bourgeoisie. I feel like I'm in enemy territory 😅
Today is travel day! I'm UK bound for the ballet. I can't wait! I decided to go with a Wonderland theme this time, including this new dress: a Gothic take on Alice in Wonderland.
Going to a drag show after work tonight, so I decided to wear my cute new pinup dress. This is my first time ever wearing a pinup dress. I tend to avoid them because I'm not a very busty gal.
Well the tour was a bit disappointing. It was heavy on the ghost stories (which I don't believe in) and it seems like most of the tour didn't either. However there was a really sweet freebie table, so I got a lot of cool stuff!
My relatively simple look for the Hull House tour tonight. I do love a mesh cutout on a dress. Obviously I have one of my ballet pendants and my guillotine necklace. I couldn't resist wearing that one 😊
Ooooooh!!!! I've always wanted to tour Hull House. As a working class gal myself, it's such an important part of working class history and it has such a rich history as well 😃
I'm going on a tour of Hull House tonight (and I look fabulous), which is a historical place in Chicago. The house was founded to provide social and educational opportunities for working class people, especially immigrants and women. I'm really looking forward to learning about it 😁
Every time I think I have a minute to take a break, nope! 😅
Sorry for the radio silence. I'm racing to finish book six and I'm leaving for London (and the ballet! I can't believe I'm actually going to see Like Water for Chocolate) on Sunday. I'm seriously just all over the place, stressing.
OMG, whenever I see one of these it makes me even more excited to get mine 😃
