I think it was, at least for me, that despite being absolute shit, he works really freaking hard at everything and you get to see that almost right away.

Also the way Izuku can call him such a cutesy childish name without him minding at all was like. A flag for me. It was so bizarre. I loved it.

Up until Endwalker he often had echo visions in his dreams. Of things to come. Of how Hydaelyn wanted to use him. He hated these dreams even more than the nightmares.

Vividly. He often has horrible nightmares of his experiences and they are so real they leave him shaking and bereft of breath.

But now and then he has dreams of more pleasant things and they too feel very real. He wakes from these bittersweet moments rested.

He definitely enjoys traveling. There are so many places and things to see! However, he definitely has come to appreciate mattresses. So whenever he's close to an adventure guild he'll pick his* room over camping.

On one hand I want to just laugh at the obvious lightheartedness.

On the other it's so frustrating. Crossdressing doesn't mean you're a woman. Being trans means you're a woman. But they are not the same thing.
