Notice something else unusual about the Portland protests? In all the previous ones, proud boys and their buddies invariably showed up to sucker punch people on the periphery who had their backs turned, and to start brawls.
They aren't there now.
The reason why seems obvious: they joined ICE.

You know these were reminding me of appearances by the trump baby balloon, which made magats mad enough to run up and stab them. Then it occurred to me: where are all the proud boys, who used to show up at every protest to punch women and small men? What are they afraid of? Or did they all join ICE.

I went to an October wedding in NJ once and got to tour most of New England from the back seat of a tiny car, craning to see the foliage. Mostly I remember the engaged couple in the front seat arguing over what was "peak" or not.

Lee sure gets peevish about patriotic matters. The song has an undercurrent of grievance, too.
And he didn't just try to claim ownership of the words "God bless the USA" he acts like America itself is his intellectual property. (Sort of like how trump thinks the U.S. is real estate he owns now.)
