Going to college meant freedom. It was the first place I was openly gay, was able to learn about what that meant, learn about things I couldn’t, meet people I never would’ve otherwise. College wasn’t the best, but it was a necessary time.

I actually enjoyed learning and it was hard for me. I’ve been able to coast by without studying with A’s and B’s, but college def showed me I couldn’t do that 😂
