Saturday shows the growing energy channeled by Democrats, who've helped lead previous peaceful demonstrations against Trump and Musk, brought out large crowds on Labor Day to stand up for workers over billionaires, and have organized candidate petition drives to help get Democrats on the ballot.

There was a lot of passion and a lot of work that went into this: Lake Dems helped to manage the local demonstrations, recruited speakers, trained safety marshals to help make sure protests were peaceful and organized, and sent volunteers and attendees to the protests.
