A custom mural on the Temple walls titled “The New Beginning” signifies a fresh start for those who will call this new development home.
Alvarado & Temple Apartments have been retrofitted by Brilliant Corners to provide additional accessible features for residents. Onsite property management and case management will allow residents to receive personalized wrap-around services, providing support to thrive in this new opportunity.
This morning, LAHD joined Brilliant Corners and community partners to celebrate the grand opening of 66 new supportive housing units across two sites in the City of Los Angeles!

The annual allowable rent increase for rent-stabilized (RSO) units in the City of Los Angeles is 3% beginning July 1, 2025. An additional 1% for gas and 1% for electric service can be added if the landlord provides the service to the tenant.

Funded in part by Measure ULA, 104-unit Peak Plaza will offer families enough space to comfortably live together so they can continue to be together, support one another, and grow together.

Right now, we’re building affordable homes, protecting renters, and creating good jobs. As the Citizens Oversight Committee (COC)-approved program rolls out, we’ll see LA as a true leader in creating a City that works for all of us.
As of February 2025, ULA has:

✔️ Kept 11,000 Angelenos in their homes through rental assistance
✔️ Funded the start of construction on 795 affordable homes
✔️ Created 10,000 union construction jobs
