I'm a therapist that works for a small group private practice and we've also stopped receiving payments from Medicare. Most therapists who don't work for large agencies are either in solo practice or work for a small business. An interruption in payments really affects us.
I definitely know parents who track their college-aged kids' locations. "Kid didn't sleep in their dorm last night!" Absolutely none of your damn business lol.
Oh, In Shock was so powerful. I'll definitely be adding this to the to be read list.
We Massholes love our crunchy coffee.
Sorry for your loss. 💔

Are things good right now? No. But are there signs of better days ahead? Also no. Still, we know that it's all going to hold together one way or another, that we'll emerge from this better than we were, right? Yeah, no, probably not.
I don't remember that Hosier song.
I cancelled WashPo and subscribed to the Onion print edition instead.
I like West Life unsweetened plain soy milk. Or Oatsome organic oat milk. I don't like plant milk with thickeners added.
I freeze them for smoothies. And occasionally banana bread.
Right? I am baffled by the concept of someone who is willing to assault someone, but somehow walking into the women's room with a five o'clock shadow is a bridge too far for them.
I keep joking I'm going to make a tshirt that says "let trans people pee."
I hope Vita gets his surgery ❤️
And now it's in my head too. Thanks.
My thought exactly.
Honestly I might prefer transgender for everybody over what we're getting now.

Picard diversity tip: The fact that a crewmember looks alien to you does not make them any less of a Starfleet officer.
As Pod 153 said, "Being alive is pretty much a constant stream of embarrassment."
Omg! You just made my day!
Hey she's almost got lyrics from a Counting Crows song there.
I have New England Asters growing in my yard and they are absolutely swarmed with pollinators right now.
Purple New England Asters in bloom in a flower bed in front of a window. If you look closely there is a small cat in the corner if the window.
At this point multiple studies have shown that cats release oxytocin when interacting with their people. So cats have been scientifically proven to actually love you.
Same reason I upgraded my Kindle a couple years ago.
