I love she gets to have adventures w Gisèle in Tural and nobody knows who tf he is. Just this way too enormous blond gender situation following her like a lost kitten. no skin in any of this, just there for the vibes
i love zenos sfm. that’s my autistic queen
flashbacks to the time somebody’s white boy first timer friend showed up to my table in HS and left bc he got mad i said Drizzt is Black (“he can say nigga but you can’t” was my exact phrasing)
post asking for peoples opinions on the “hotly debated” topic of Drizzt’s skin tone and I started to type but then I came to my senses and just closed the tab instead. Please clap
I don’t need a bunch of white men unfamiliar with the curse of ham or gygax’s almost comical levels of racism dogpiling me 👍🏾

see the funny part about this ao3 tag discourse is you have people who are like "switch shippers always see themselves as superior for liking switch :/" but y'all make it EVERYONE's problem if the wrong guy takes it up the ass. so... yeah i do have better emotional regulation than you
Gisèle plays a lot of standard hero tropes straight but that’s inherently a subversive thing given who she is and who codified those tropes, who’s centered in heroic fantasy narratives, etc. The Chosen One(tm) never looks like her, and that’s why I emphasize it so much.
queer Black femininity, kink, subversion of the monomyth and other standard western fantasy tropes, the divine (i separate this from religion), fish out of water, etc

time to go all out, writers. what themes do you explore in your WoL/OCs character?

for example; aurora tackles themes of femininity, motherhood, womanhood, (in some cases) religion. For me when i make decisions as small as gender it can completely alter how I write a character!!
Gisèle on her way to freakmald right after I tell her she can’t go

Comm of of @/buboplague.bsky.social ‘s oc Zinru 🤍
Illustration of a character (Zinru, created by the talented Buboplague) nestled in the thick of vines, skulls and tropical leaves with his arms adorn in many bangles raised to the moonlight.
glad everyone can be very normal abt IFTC now btw because the 💿 🐴 at the time…yowza
I will never forget that shit in my LIFE
I’m putting Erenville and DG specifically on a shelf
#gislore one of many reasons Gisèle is getting canceled on mognet btw. her Your Fave is Problematic post is like 9 parts long
Gisèle had an extremely complex view of it. On one hand it was VERY traumatic getting shoved into a Garlean and losing her magic, an intrinsic part of her. Ardbert took the wheel and helped her through it. But losing control of her own body danced the fine line of fear and desire, as an anguissette.

How did your WOL/OC react/feel about the events of "In From the Cold"? Was there anything specific that happened to them that was not shown in-game? What was the aftermath like?
she deadass made my bestie present to us what I can only describe as a book report like we were fifth graders. all bc she couldn’t stand us being home. It was so ridiculous
lrp my manager on the training team was 100% one of those useless boomer managers who was a pass agg power tripper that didn’t actually know how to manage people so wanted us all in. even during lockdown when the other teams were all out she made us come in all the time for complete bullshit.

remote work is like birth control or UBI atp where there’s overwhelming research consensus they improve quality of life for people they apply to, yet access is impeded or blocked by the ruling class because the thought of marginalized ppl having rich full lives makes steam come out their ears
2. Rolling Stone is owned by a large media conglomerate, which is ending remote work across its brands.

My home is Portland, Oregon, ~1,000 miles from the nearest office, so this marks the end of the line for me at RS.
She’s never admitted aloud to anyone but it aroused her like few other things, seeing Zenos in her body like that. Had Zenos succeeded in actually killing someone things would have been a lot different obvs. But she is secretly livid she didn’t get to be in his.

For Zenos’ part it cracked his egg.
