posting some if my work here :3
its tough 😭
i definitely agree. i always believed streaming was so people could be included in the action live as it happens, nowadays it feels super artificially manufactured in some ways
btw i also stream test test:

“AI art is ugly to look at” doesn’t cut it as an argument anymore imo. It may not be the case anymore very soon, and regardless, is far from the greatest ethical concern.

i think although im a cringe character illustrator, I love the mix of AAA games, gacha, commissions, vtuber stuff. I just hope next year I get more time per project..
trying to figure out what I really want to do next year. I think every project I work on has its ups and downs, and I enjoy variety a lot.
I also believe twitter is becoming harder to browse. I get a lot of my references from twitter and mobile twitter is almost unusable
werent* laid off
Something is in the water when there are waves of layoffs at riot, and the people who weren't at riot are wanting to leave..
i think it's best for a lot of new/freelance artists that want to do commission work, conventions, short term contracts, etc. to look at how people involve themselves on reddit (both big/small subs) and on twitter. It seems to me the style of rhetoric is changing and idk if i like it LOL
I think i'm proud to say I've successfully learned how to navigate twitter, especially if people want to play the "numbers" game. It's all a game really... but I fear that changes in the public's attitude will make 2025 very weird and challenging
I realize twitter is really not a good place to interact with a fanbase/group of anonymous people... its definitely moreso for exposure and networking
I think Ive decided to use bsky as mainly a rambling blog and sketches. I'll probably try to keep my twitter "cleaner"
