(For the record, this likely isn't an issue with the proto build itself. But with how i'm loading it on my console. The USB port is quite a bit slower than the disk drive in terms of loading speed.)

i know there's a similar bug that applies to all Steam accounts (though it might have been fixed since then, this was back in April)

if you open the Steam console and enter "download_depot 440 228990 5087715316087945828"

it downloads a random Hentai VN. "My fake goblin wife"

for extra context, depot 228990 is the "DirectX Jun 2010 Redist" package. one of the many common Redistributable packages installed when you download a game that requires it.

the wildest part is that only the header is using stolen Nintendo assets.
the actual screenshots (which are only viewable on the Playstation app and on Console, it's a standard limitation.) show they're just flipping a UE5 asset template.

there's also cases where the ROMs had been originally dumped from a bootleg board, and were eventually replaced with the real deal.

the good thing, at the very least. is the fact they ported it to standard consoles instead of leaving it to die on Stadia.
since we have access to the game files. it should theoretically be possible to recreate the online servers as a fan project.
