A few versions to end the day. This is the same party that appeared in the Rucken piece a while back. I like the idea of my OCs hanging out.

I'd be interested to read their backstories; I know the broad strokes, but reading the River/Zealous enemies to lovers story unfold sounds fun. I forget if I'm familiar with Alexis, but I'm up for any OC lore.

Still working on my writing style. Hemingway was the first writer to make me think about style, and I haven't quite shaken him.

And I feel you on not reading enough. I tell myself: "I want a good chunk of time to dedicate to this book/story", then just never set that time aside. 😅

Cool, a fellow writer! I write a bit myself, though just little slice-of-life scenes at the moment. I'm in agreement with your character-focused approach: perhaps it's because I'm a serial OC-maker, but I love thinking about how characters interact/ respond to things.
