I was 7 when the Phillies blew it in the NLCS for the third straight year—and the second straight against the Dodgers. Lopes was out! I STILL hate those jerks Garvey with his punchable face, Ron Cey and his stupid penguin legs, and that bigoted blowhard Lasorda. Fuck the Dodgers.

Again, I don’t hate the Blue Jays for that game. That was entirely on Fregosi. Mitch was shot at that point and everyone knew it. He had several former closers in the pen plus the starters. He could have gone to anyone other than Williams.

Nah, I never even hated the Blue Jays for 1993. I was always more angry about Fregosi’s handling of the pitching staff.

On the other hand, I still hate the Dodgers for 1977-78. Also fuck that bigot dickbag Tommy Lasorda forever.
