This was definitely my largest #artcommission this year. This
was a commission for Maidintweeter in conjunction with and based on @draxie.bsky.social! I honestly haven't drawn a comic in so long, but I'm glad with how it turned out. Thanks again for the opportunity!

Been looking at a lot of the "consent to dhgf" art tag/memes lately on here and on twitter. Decided I'm going to occasionally draw a few I come across now and then. This is JuRam's OC over on Twitter. Next one will be from here. =)

Moving forward- I'm going to finish what comms I have and then focus on new prints. I have a few things I want to get done-

- Make more Boobatea pics
- Fanart mix of old and new anime characters
- Experiment more with my art techniques and style

It's Monday and we're back home now. Thank you again for those that came out to see us or cheered us on for GalaxyCon. Unfortunately it wasn't our best show, but we did meet a lot of great artists and certainly inspired for conventions next year.

All in all, I'm still going to try for more conventions in the future. If anything, I'm considering different strategies on what to make and sell. Definitely getting inspired by some of our peers here and some insight from the sales we have made. The bus doesn't stop here lol.

We still haven't made back our table, but as Sarah has been saying- this is a learning experience. I'm curious to know what the attendance numbers will look like after this, but I'm definitely thinking mid sized cons (10k or less attendance) may be our sweet spot.

Admittedly, I was starting to feel very discouraged both Friday and yesterday due to no one buying from us for several hours. The PTSD from when I had a no sales day back at the Otakon years ago was starting to creep up. Thank God for Sarah though, helping me to keep my head up.

So it's 5am and I'm up lol. It's not quite the start of day 3 of GalaxyCon, but some thoughts-

Comic cons are tough. Sales have been low, which I think may be due to costs of the convention, parking, food, etc, plus the sheer amount of artists here selling similar stuff.

Not the worst day, but certainly not the best. The convention was a little slow today, only had a handful of sales. We did meet some lovely people though and saw a few friends both in and around the exhibit hall. Hopefully tomorrow will be more fruitful. We'll see.
