Latest project completed. This took me about four months to complete from start to finish, and it’s the biggest piece I’ve made, and it’s from my husband’s favorite Dungeons and Dragons show. We just need to iron it and get it framed!

Thrifted these two beauties this weekend. The only issue I’ve tub into is that the bobbin winder on the Merritt 8734 doesn’t want to wind the bobbin (any ides how to fix that?), but I’ve already helped mend three pairs of my hubby’s pants. I will learn how to see this year

WIP from this week. Pattern is from DMC, one of the first kits I got to help me learn how the basics. Not a big fan of the symbols on the pattern, they tend to blend together if your vision isn’t the best (surprise, my vision is awful). I’m about 3/4 of the way done with this piece.

I’m a middle school teacher (theatre and speech/debate). We talked about the ban in all my classes by connecting it to the Library of Alexandria. All of them were able to piece out why this ban was unnecessary simply by using historical fact on their own. The kids are alright.
