"mikenna floats along the crimson sea, in an old rusted boat. today's her 140th age day, not that she remembers. the rain pours down, burning her hair and fur.. she does not care. for now, its less painful than going back and facing her problems..

the old boat was made over a century ago, by mikenna and her dad.. they loved to ride out over the lake, facing the biggest danger to their kind.. to fall in the water would mean almost certain death, but neither of them were afraid. long ago, he told her theyd face the world together, through good times and bad

they stopped searching for him last year. all they found was his hat, in long dried atrament" -the historian, 564sd(rf)

hi hi! heres week 47, a drawing i touched up from drawgust. i dont usually like to post downers, but i think its important, sometimes. this piece took 4h30m, about 90 colors (reflections bump up those numbers massively), and a 560x420(4x3). thank you for checking out my work! i hope you have a wonderful week ♡

Luna, Lady of The Moon ♡

"in thiria, there are fairy tales of a lady who lives on the moon.. a lady with long, flowing, brilliant white hair, as bright as the stars. the fables say she is responsible for every light, every star, even the flames atop the candles, and that she may have power over time itself..

she is fabled to be so blindingly bright, that she can only be seen at night, when she is at her weakest. it is said she grants protection from the monsters of the night, keeping every flame alight, marked by the stars in the night sky.

every young thirian is told this tale.. a beacon of hope in the darkest nights, a mother, watching over them all. it is a story many grow out of, eventually.. but most thirians keep the story alive anyways" -the historian (pt)

The Azdelan Cove ♡

vibrant blue digital art of a tunnel, bore out into the side of a cave, overcome by large obsidian black spikes, jutting out of the cave at seemingly random angles. in the foreground, two silhouettes of armor, the left's helmet having two small ears or horns, and the right's having comically oversized horns, one broken off.

the left holds a magic blue flame, and the right has a thought bubble reading "(why does imn always visit this place? what arent they telling me..?)". despite being in a cave, it seems to overrun with plants, vines, and trees, and it seems to be raining, the water dripping profusely from the ceiling. at the far end of the tunnel, is a large pool of water, seemingly natural, and not uncommon here, as theres one in the foreground too. the signature reads "kise akuta 3306", denoting the day of my journal, when i drew this piece

description/story:
"in their travels over the years, sif and imn have deeply explored the ruins of azdela, making the caverns their home when tides are high.. sif is curious about those who came before, and why only he and his adoptive sibling remain.. but imn is dismissive of this, saying the olden days were probably uninteresting, and tey think they are lucky to get to know a world that is all their own, free to collect and do whatever they want.

..but on their way back, imn always stops at this one spot, deep in the ruins.. sif does not understand the importance of it, and imn only says theyre 'surprised how well it looks, after all these years'. sif is baffled by this explanation, and he knows theres something imn isnt telling him.. but, he has no one else, and does not wish to push them.

the black obsidian spikes always baffled sif.. theyre everywhere in the ruins, and apparently over a century old, and yet they seem untouched by time" -the historian, 717sd(LA)

Fort Akutay! ♡

story/description:
week 44
"over 3000 years ago, there is a legend that there were once many demigods.. they were immortal, and it is said they collectively helped raise the first civilization, in the ramian desert. an oasis, amongst the kilometers of hot desolation. not much history survives from this era.. but it is known that over the centuries, the demigods disappeared, one by one, so much so that not even their names are remembered today.

only one remains, the ancient founder and guardian of akutay, the only one still alive from the first era, now thousands of years old.. shes guided the rise of every kingdom, of every empire in this land.. i think its the only thing that gives purpose to such an old being, maybe the only thing that has kept her from fading too.

shes likely the only one still alive who remembers what became of the old demigods, but she seems unwilling to tell it.. maybe she misses them, or doesnt wish to look back.. but after a thousand years, i think she owes us this much.. i will find out what became of the old gods" -iroka, of synatose (3430sd) (this story is disconnected from the realms of greater akutay)

General Sakura, and Rivsbane ♡

$red digital art of a wolfgirl, with faded red fur, and long dark brown hair, done up in a big poofy ponytail. she carries a big warhammer, with a purple metal hammerhead, that has a lightning symbol on it. she wears dark red plate armor, and pinkish lightning arcs from her hammer. her red cape flows behind her, and the background behind her consists of foresty caves, with small houses, trees, and a little waterfall. her text box reads: "Ah, Rivsbane.. if only we had 6 of you, we could take back Ryokai..". art by kise akuta, day 3292. art description/story: "unbeknownst to the people of the fire resistance, they have always been at an elemental disadvantage against the rivira.. they won each battle only through advanced technology and fortification, but eventually, the rivira caught up and surpassed. ice and storm do not naturally occur in ryokai, so the wolfendites never even had a chance to know the full equation for the elemental exchange.. but, a rare few weapons provide extraordinary power against the water kingdom.. one such being rivsbane, a great warhammer with an otherworldly color, wielded by general sakura.. its able to create great gusts of wind, and strike foes with an incredible shock! the fire people have no idea how it works, or why.. but it sends the rivira FLYING, often able to solo a small army by itself, turning general sakura into a legend on the battlefield, whipping tornados through the caverns and turning the tide of battles in an instant. the council has long plotted to capture general sakura, and destroy this powerful weapon.. if the fire people could replicate even a fraction of its power, i believe the hydrangea would fall in a matter of years" -the historian, 582sd(rf) hi hi! if youre a long-time frien, youll know week 43 was my previous best! and i shall destroy this record >:3. this piece took 6h50m, and only 30 unique colors! anyways, thank you for checking out my work! as always, i hope you have a lovely week ♡$
