On forums, a guy who posts a ton and is frequently wrong, but it's all within the context of like some dumb fighting game or talking about a cartoon or something. It's endearing, almost, a brotherhood of low-stakes brawling.

Never really asked to venture outside that arena!

No real future, just hopes that this thing that hasn't really shaken out will eventually settle. In the meantime, sit in the portfolio of a company that just wants to grow by acquiring name-brands, even though some of them will naturally bust.

These seem like smart questions. India may indeed be an emerging market, but it seems like they're more focused on mobile. Evo's acquisition seems more like a shoot-first-ask-questions-later move than any real solid plan, and I guess that is what is troubling: still just a plaything

This is probably the smarter model - leverage power as a rights-holder to lend use of these assets for direct partnerships. But what could that mean for Evo? Have to pay to restream? Must subscribe to see VODs? Higher ticket prices? Who knows

This is a company that has yet to be off the teat but has major ambitions. It has grown substantially in South Asia by acquiring popular IP's and scaling up, but its losses have steepened, and now will have greater financial responsibility. What's their plan?

So a major nonprofit organization with the explicit goal of criminalizing speech that criticizes the political actions of the state of Israel specifically sought out a case that they intended to use as a legal battering ram to further their cause. In the course of doing so, they intended to stifle the speech and rights of American tournament organizers, humiliating and legally strongarming them into settling the suit and dropping these statements, which sound like they were typed at gunpoint:
