It’s like he’s preparing us for Flaherty picking SD over us & Mike just hiring Manso instead. Just like the Burnes situation, Elias seems to be putting all his eggs in the Flaherty basket & stringing Manso along to be his fallback. I don’t think I’m even being that hyperbolic tbh.

Ryan Ripken, the son of one of the owners, is on his show saying it’s going to be Ryan Flaherty or Tony Mansolino, he can’t see anyone else being hired as the Orioles new manager. Mansolino keeps being pushed and it just feels like the writing is on the wall, like it’s being intentionally leaked.

I was one of those people, and I was being facetious because there is a lot of hearsay on here and the other place that Elias is prioritizing hiring him. It doesn’t mean I “covet” him (although I’d be happy with the hire). I honestly covet anyone but Tony Mansolino.

I’m hoping they’ll be let go once the new manager is hired and wants to bring in his own staff, but this is certainly concerning that it’ll be Mansolino meaning they all stay. This is being handled so poorly in my opinion.

I want him bc he’s a coach’s son & has spent a ton of time around managers like Buck Showalter & others but he’s also on the younger side & can relate to these guys but tell them to get their shit together at the same time. That’s a really poorly written run on sentence but I hope that makes sense.

Yes I believe so. I think he was with the Braves by 2018 and before Elias was hired as well. I remember being in Atlanta for the series against them that year and he was wandering randomly in The Battery bc he was locked out of the clubhouse & he didn’t know how to get back in bc he was new there 😂😂

13 years ago today, the O’s lost in the ALDS (after NO ONE expected them to be there) and @kerrylyn130.bsky.social & I randomly got in the car and drove down to Baltimore to welcome the team home. Wonder what/where the “crazy videos” are??? 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

I just shook hands with Showalter, and the entire Orioles team. They made sure to thank all the fans individually as they walked by. AMAZING. Crazy videos to come later!! <3
