Those are the important rallies. The ones where 1000s attend get headlines but it's the ones where there are small numbers that let people know they're not alone. That give them a chance to swap numbers and arrange to attend events together. That lead them to arrange events... And the numbers grow.

Perhaps we need for news in all of Scotland to be made and reported in all of Scotland. Parts of the South don't get STV. They get Borders news from Carlisle or Newcastle. Would the powers that be think it acceptable for people in Dover to get French news or those in Bristol to have RTE?

The more worrying part of the numbers released today on borrowing was the amount that now has to be borrowed to service the debt on the record borrowing by the Tories to finance their tax cuts. I'd like to know how any of the Westminster parties are going to get out of that mess.

Bringing together two of my passions - knitting and baseball. It's taken me a year to knit this scarf. #knit #knitsky meet #MetsSky.
For the knitters, it's called triple check stitch (credit to mathgrrl.com), made with three colours and gives the effect of stocking stitch on both sides.
