With the moth done, I’m going back to my Taranglia (star-eater) to add some details and flesh him out a little bit. I liked the outline but it needed a little more so I’m using French and colonial knots to shade it.

My Luna moth is finished and attached! The second photo shows off how the little moons on the forewings glow 🌘

I might go back and add a little more to the body but at this point I’m just happy enough to call this part done.

Second, I get to call an upon the triple goddess in the three stages of the dandelion flower. Reflected in the bud/flower/seed puff are the maiden/mother/crone.

Planning this project has been fun and finally seeing more of it come together has been amazing 😁

So why dandelions? Well besides the fun idea with the seeds turning into stars, I’m trying to incorporate a lot of different magical elements/associations into this vest. The dandelions are twofold: first they are air-aligned and eventually my outfit will have all four traditional elements included.
