One thing I forgot to mention is to use a paper towel or cloth to clean before applying the plates if you opt to stick them rather than nail them. Especially if you go rechargeable, you'll be removing them to recharge so you'll want the base to stick firmly.

Look for warm lights, so either yellow or soft white, to avoid that bright light effect.

I'd also recommend lying on the ground and getting a good look under the cabinet to make sure they're even, so the light is even, too. You can use a sharpie to mark it out since no one will ever see it.

And that's it. Very simple, and wow, what a difference they've made. I'll be installing more.

I initially stuck them under the cabinets, facing down, and it wasn't enough light. I had to un-stick those plates, and let me tell you, that was not fun. And once they're stuck and unstuck, of course they're not nearly as sticky. Learn from my mistakes. 😆

What I'm going to recommend when starting is getting some double-sided tape, or just making tape loops out of regular tape, and testing out the lighting before committing and nailing or sticking the plates (the magnetic plates came with super sticky backs if you don't want to deal with nails).

How the lights work is that they're magnetic. You'll attach magnet plates to your baseboards or under your cabinets. The backs of the lights have magnets, as well, and snap to those plates. Easy peasy.

I also didn't want to deal with more things that needed batteries, so I opted for rechargeable. ymmv I can honestly see an argument both ways.

In the video, Dan said the basis of their relationship was that they had two similar, unique experiences, and really the other was the only one who could relate and understand. I think they chose Good Omens subliminally. Or maybe not.

I just finished watching the last part of their vid. As subjects of a /lot/ of RPF, they had some interesting things to say about it in this vid. Also, about fandom in general. A lot of intellectual and emotional intelligence along with the humor. Man, I couldn't be happier for a pair of nerds.
