Drinking a margarita at a food cart pod, surrounded by parents and young children in war ravaged Portland. Highly recommend the lamb shawarma. Haven’t found the war or anything ravaged yet, but I’ll keep looking.

Is contemporary literary criticism a thing? If so, who is doing it well? As in… is there a book I can buy that was written in the last ten years that is an important work of literary criticism? Not trying to make a point… genuinely curious and looking for suggestions.
