Last night, Westchester chose progress. Westchester chose experience. Westchester chose leadership that shows up and delivers results.

I am deeply honored to be elected as your next Westchester County Executive, and I cannot thank you enough for your support.
Through it all, we’re holding the line, managing costs, protecting reserves, and planning wisely for the future. This is a budget grounded in responsibility and designed for resilience.
We’ve also closed more than 120 completed projects to save $13M and created smarter capital management tools to streamline delivery and reduce waste.
- $50M in EV charging expansion
- $21M in state-supported environmental infrastructure
- $133M for a new Fleet and Road Maintenance Facility
We’re investing in what keeps Westchester running, safe, and strong:
- $150M for electrical upgrades at the Yonkers Wastewater Facility
- $50M in affordable housing investments
- $122.5M to replace aging hybrid buses
That’s why this plan focuses on making every dollar count, prioritizing core infrastructure, affordable housing, public transit, flood mitigation, and energy sustainability.
This is not a year for wish lists. It’s a year for wisdom. We’re facing real economic pressures, including the potential loss of $700 million in state and federal aid.
Today, I released Westchester County’s 2026 Capital Budget, a plan that reflects the fiscal realities we face and the long-term investments we must make.
And a special thank-you to Aleksandra Chancy, President of Dack Consulting, for your $5,000 contribution and continued commitment to strengthening our community. Your leadership and investment in girls’ futures show what’s possible when MWBE excellence meets local impact.
A heartfelt thank-you to Executive Director Dr. Sharlise Smith-Rodriguez, Board Chair Andrene Smith, and the entire Girls Inc. team for the incredible work you do every day to help girls grow up strong, smart, and bold.
It was a pleasure to join Girls Inc. of Westchester and Dack Consulting Solutions, Inc. to celebrate a meaningful new partnership dedicated to uplifting and empowering the next generation of leaders.
With the general election on November 4th coming up, let’s elect leaders who prioritize gun safety. Make your plan to vote.
I remain committed to common‑sense gun safety measures that protect families, support law enforcement, and get illegal guns off our streets.

Westchester deserves leadership that acts on public safety, that strengthens community partnerships, and that governs with responsibility and integrity.
I’m honored to again be recognized as a 2025 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. Keeping our communities safe from gun violence is a top priority.
I am proud of the County’s partnership with Teatown and grateful to all the leaders, staff, and supporters who helped bring this vision to life.
This major step forward will expand access to environmental education for residents of all ages and backgrounds, creating new opportunities to learn, explore, and protect our natural world.
It was a pleasure to join Teatown Lake Reservation for the groundbreaking of its new Education Center and campus renovation project.
Jack and Jill continue to uplift and inspire the next generation, helping young people find their voice, build confidence, and take pride in their leadership journey. Thank you for continuing to inspire the next generation.
It was a pleasure to bring greetings at this year’s Pink and Blue Forum hosted by Jack and Jill of America. This powerful gathering of young leaders and families is a testament to the organization’s dedication to civic engagement and community empowerment.
Chief Cullen also served as an emergency medical technician, further exemplifying his commitment to protecting and serving others. Westchester is safer and stronger because of individuals like him.
To our knowledge, he is the only individual in NYS history to have held the rank of Chief in three different departments, including a career department.
After retiring and moving to Pleasantville, he continued his service by joining the Pleasantville Fire Department, where he again rose to the rank of Chief.
In addition to his volunteer service in Dobbs Ferry, Chief Cullen served as a career firefighter with the White Plains Fire Department, rising through the ranks to become Chief.
It was a privilege to join the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department in honoring former Chief John H. Cullen for an extraordinary 75 years of volunteer service. Chief Cullen’s lifelong commitment to public safety is a shining example of selfless service, leadership, and dedication.
