No, ABA therapy is NOT the gold standard for supporting autistic children: “Those studies that report children making long-term gains in functioning are of middling scientific quality, casting doubt on the therapy’s status as an authoritative treatment.”

afloat when snap is cut. And helps folks managing less money get good food access. You have to pick it up at the location at the time specified. So, this might be a barrier for some with disabilities.
There's an app you can download called Too Good To Go. It's across the United States. It's supported mostly by small local stores. If you're on, you sign up for a mystery box of whatever food or bread for a fraction of the cost they sell it for. This goes for meals as well. It helps them stay
I do wonder which kinds of Tylenol create what form of autism. Mine is the dyspraxic / dyscalculia kind. But would extended release Tylenol help me augment this so I can, additionally, have the maths kind in addition to the hyperfixation on human behavior / reads nature encyclopedias for fun kind?
Seems like it's related to his hatred of researchers, academics and scientists. He doesn't want pregnant people to make more of them. But he doesn't understand we existed pre Tylenol.
It's definitely a thing that needs to be used with other measures. I do like it better in many ways. And some measures overlap a little too much with cptsd without enough differentiation. But it was interesting to go through.
Some doctors will provide a direct referral if your insurance is not one that partners and then you can still use it.

If you're a gov. worker who cannot make rent this month due to the shutdown, there's organizations that will help for a month. You can go to CatholicCharities (they help everyone regardless of faith) or there's County gov programs will also do this and you can call 211.
It's like an extra slap in the face for no reason other than cruelty.
Needing food assistance isn't partisan. I don't think they calculated just how hard this will hit businesses as well. In 2017 emergency funds were appropriated for snap during the shutdown. The Republicans just refuse to allow this. It's giving: "If you don't do what I want, I'll starve the kids"
There's some folks reporting that they are getting notices that if snap left on cards isn't used up by Nov 1st, the gov is taking that money back. Which is wild. So if you're on benefits, please plan accordingly for food purchases.

#Allistic people rarely, if ever, wonder if they are #autistic. Seriously.

If you often think you might be autistic, hit this place up and take the actual tests that PsyD's use to assess. If the numbers support you, time to consider whether or not you need a formal diagnosis (self-DX is valid).
Sometimes I look at my dog and think about the fact that I could have had two whole zpod beds *sigh*. But his thyroid surgery was worth it.

If you're stuck without Thanksgiving dinner for the holiday and are in SF, you should come by Tenderloin Tessie's. Everyone is welcome. It's dinner and a show. It's free. Folks are welcome to line up early if they'd like and I normally help give everyone cookies and drinks. Cookies are sometimes
Understood. Basic food for millions in the U.S. is just about to be cut off by this administration in ten days. There's a lot of coordinating I can do locally that will not translate Internationally because of perishables, unfortunately. I'm sorry about that complication.
I'm not really supporting anyone person in specific. I'm currently looking at local areas & community support to strategize and looking at trusted current operations up help maximize their output. If I can get some idea of your area & it's in the U.S. I can link you to local food aid.
It's a tax write off to donate to many of the orgs and some places like Punk with Lunch in Oaklandjust need some folks for an hour or two to hand out food and hygiene supplies. I'm going to see what the Sisters can do.
I'm stressed about this upcoming snap / ebt halting in Nov. because, you know, people starving is not OK.
I know there's several groups around that feed people & have operations going. If you have any energy to volunteer to feed folks or donate money for food, maybe now would be a good time.
