Feeling anxious this morning… I took the day off to finish recovering and take Mom to the doctor. Now, my district is virtual due to the Nor’easter. I feel like I should be working but I already submitted the “ticket.” Contacted my Principal but no response. So many emails! #anxious #virtual

So I have this pendant up in my room and I had a student asked me today about Virginia Wesleyan. I told him that when I went to Virginia Wesleyan I enjoyed my time there made friendships that I still connected even met my husband there. But sadly, it is changing the name starting July 1, 2026.

I met my husband there at school and I was hoping our girls would love to go there too but now it feels like the school is not home anymore it’s just another place taking money and cranking out diplomas.

Virginia Wesleyan was my first choice to go. I didn’t realize it at first but the first time I toured the campus it brought back memories of pinics my family used to go to with the Sunday School class from Miles Memorial UMC. #VirginiaWesleyan #VWUnamechange
