can you give me an example in gaming? Embracer fell apart because they didn't get the funding. A similar org bought Scopely, and seems to be investing in their future. Tencent is certainly acting as a venture firm and probably saved Ubisoft. THQ was the last failure that was divested.

This seems very one sided to me. Tencent owns or has a significant stake in DOZENS of developers and publishers (Ubisoft anyone) in the US and EU, and yet there is NO outcry for Tencent investment? but saudi investment creates doom and gloom? (don't go human rights either -CH > SAUD on that front
