That's true, although in my experience most RTTY QSOs were (and still are) heavily dependent on the macros. Each to their own, I suppose.
That's #9L8MD nabbed on 12m #RTTY 🎊 Oh, wait... it's my computer to their computer... is #RTTY a "real #hamradio " then?
I'm prioritising (in vain so far ☹️) #5k0a before they wrap-up.
Pandemonium on 15m FT8: 5k0ua, 9u1ru, and 6o3t all on 21.074 😬 #hamradio #dx
It's OK about the rhythm, but have you got the power?

Lots are asking, so: (subject to change, don't shout at me if they do)

Matinee:

2.30pm - doors

3.00pm - PSB + LCO

4.45pm (ish) - done (NB if either show is more likely to run late, it’s the matinee)

Evening:

7.30pm - doors

8pm - Hamish Hawk

8.50pm - PSB + LCO

10.40pm (ish) - done
Or how it's too easy to get licensed today, as opposed to during Queen Victoria's reign (or some such, depending on poster's age) when "real" hams had to work "really hard" to get "real" licenses.
Finally, I got to read this month's #rsgb RadCom, and what can I say... It's 2025, and they still publish letters to the editor from some who argue how only their favourite pastime is "real hamradio" and nothing else is 🙄 They surely know how to attract youth to #hamradio
Well done 👏 I've been trying, on and off, to work them for the past couple of days (CW and FT8), but so far, they've been somewhat hard to reach with my setup.

Double success for today's contact with scouts in the UK!

22 kid questions asked and answered, and they were able to see Jonny Kim live on station via HamTV.

Thanks to SP5LOT for sharing this HamTV capture on YouTube:

That's great. Now I can work you as a new call on 🛰 all over again 🤣
I look forward to meeting fellow #hamradio fans at #rsgb convention over the weekend (although the plan is to mostly spend it at the #amsatuk 🛰 Colloquium). Do say hello if you see me.

History repeats. That’s why in Europe we have the ECHR. 🇪🇺

In between working on the improved bandmap and cat control functions, I have started working on a brand new website for Cloudlog and wanted to include a bit about the history behind it.
Well, if push comes to shove, even a rusty nail will work, provided you've got a decent ATU 😂
Gosh, that's not great at all. 🤞it doesn't get any worse.

Cloudlogs' new DX Cluster Band Map is now in the dev branch; this is what I always wanted it to be!

Outstanding job is clicking on a spot QSYs the radio, but I am happy with the progress so far
I'd be curious to hear whether anyone's got #wxjt and #fldigi working with #pipewire (although, truth to be told, #raspberrypi os makes it remarkably simple to switch back to #pulseadio, which works just fine with all the hamradio software I use).

Likewise! It was a surprisingly orderly pass, I should say.
yup. It was impossible to separate it cleanly 😡
