Just watching the fantastic @thelibrariansfilm.bsky.social on BBC iPlayer. Such admiration for all those speaking out. I felt so proud of Weston Brown - what a wonderful young person.

Thank god Test Cricket is over, we can now get on to the real, proper stuff - the Hundred. Gaudy uniforms, modified rules, gimmicks, funky graphics, pyrotechnics and music - that's what cricket is all about.

Completely agree. Felt the there was a lack of atmosphere for poor Sonay Kartal’s match. I get there’s lots to do around the grounds but real fans wouldn’t have missed a ball.

Such a simple measure to protect these amazing birds. Another disappointment from this “Labour” government. I’m lucky my local MP @labourlewis.bsky.social is a good un and prepared to stick his head above the pulpit.

Swifts are amazing. A single swift can fly 2 million miles in its lifetime with a top speed of nearly 70 mph 😳 Yet they’re under pressure as never before. Please do as @hannahbournetaylor.bsky.social asks - lobby your MP to overturn this Govt’s obdurate refusal to mandate swift bricks in new homes 👇

Just signed and shared - Labour just keep on disappointing me.

A man describes in perfect English how he escaped torture by the Taliban.

He explains why he wants to come to the UK “because I speak English”. It’s quite simple.

He believes neither France nor Germany will help him. He knows the risk of death.
He needs a safe, regulated route. #r4today

Good evening everyone! It’s good to be here. Here’s a photo of a beautiful summer evening in my home county of Norfolk to bring some cheer.
