I read that the posters for today's No Kings March should be positive and family friendly, so I guess my usual "Oh, HELL No!" sign won't cut it. I made this new double-sided sign for the march, but, really, "Oh, HELL No!" more accurately expresses my feelings.

Each side has an American flag pasted to it. One side says "FULFILLING MY PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE BY FIGHTING FOR DEMOCRACY", the other says "WE'RE MARCHING FOR DEMOCRACY".

PROTEST SONGS #196: Anti-war

Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" would be a more obvious anti-war song under its original title, "Everybody Wants to Go to War". As Kurt Smith said, it's "quite serious—it's about everybody wanting power, about warfare and the misery it causes."
