Omg for sure Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield!! I LOVED it, and my hubby actually questioned if it counted as horror. Absolute creeping unease, unanswered questions, and love. It was 5⭐️!

Also your question taught me a new genre term. I now have a way to describe this book accurately!

Went looking for a new pair of walking shoes, trying to go for quality and simultaneously be a little thrifty… and was begrudgingly staring down a hefty price tag.

Swung by the kids section and walked out with shoes half the price and just as comfy! WHOOO!!
