Exactly. The only reason we're seeing mainstream crowds hit the streets in protest is bcs they can see their rights may be compromised. So now they're saying we should all put our personal "peccadillos" aside (i.e. minority discrimination) and fight for the right to brunch.

I referred to AWS specifically bcs it's the topic of the thread. But AWS is representative of a shady and exploitative industry that people here seem happy to accept and in turn defend. I found the posts that followed depressing, resigning into a false ethical comfort.
A common state within the tech industry. Unless of course when it comes to enabling fascist, genocidal governments and abhorrent labor conditions. Nice.
