The many stalls at the conference were so impressive and it was great to stop by and visit the range of organisations doing such fantastic work.

I'm looking forward to going back today to hear more speakers and participate in debates. (6/6)
As well as speaking, it was good to have the time to speak to so many of the delegates, constituents and to be interviewed by The Drop In youth project who do such valuable work. (5/6)
Huge thanks to Pride Action North, OUT North East and ReportOUT for hosting such a wonderful summit to showcase the North East’s inclusive spirit, creativity, and community to so many participants from across the world. (4/6)
Brilliant to have the North East take centre stage to host such a landmark global event bringing thousands together from across the world to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. (3/6)
The summit reaffirms our shared commitment to tolerance, respect, & equality at a time when hate and division are, sadly, on the rise across the UK and beyond. (2/6)
I was proud to be a key note speaker at the UK’s first ever International Safer To Be Me LGBTQ+ Human Rights Summit - being held in my constituency this week. (1/6)

Best of luck to both Newcastle United & Sunderland as the new Premier League season kicks off this weekend!

It’s brilliant to have both teams in the best league in the world.

Wishing the players, staff, and supporters an exciting season ahead - with plenty to cheer about like last season!
Thanks again to the Friends of Jarrow Cemetery for this morning’s service.
Today is 80 years since VJ Day.

I laid this beautiful wreath in honor of all who served, suffered and sacrificed.

Especially moving to hear the names on the roll of honour.

Thank you so much to Friends of Jarrow Cemetery, all the Volunteers & Tricia Vickers for a moving ceremony.
I visited the brilliant new facility in Hebburn this week.

Hebburn Day Care Centre provides specialist day care for adults with physical and learning difficulties or complex needs.

The facilities were so good and they even have a pool.

Brilliant meeting with James today who delivered these cards on behalf of constituents worried about the impact of the supreme court judgement. James ran a stall at Hebburn Pride & everyone of these cards will get a response from me detailing my support & action I am taking to protect trans people.
