I just finished Chapter 3 of the mainstream #romance #novel I'm writing!

Theo and Ivy are still sniping at each other every chance they get. Ivy's bubbly, larger-than-life personality drives grumpy, judgmental Theo crazy, but there's something about her he just can't put his finger on.

I wish I could make a living as a professional author. Maybe I can lay the groundwork now so I can do it once I retire. There’s something so magical about developing a strong main character, putting them in unusual situations, & letting them work their way through it. Telling stories is so much fun.

I’m a little upset at this.

I use ZeroGPT to check if audiobook audition scripts are AI-generated, so I thought I’d check a few lines of the romance novel I’m writing in the detector, and this is what I got. WTF!

Every word written out of my own imagination, and the detector thinks otherwise. UGH!

How do you know when a new idea is itching to get out of your brain and onto paper?

When you write almost 10K words in two days, and you end the day literally smiling at what you wrote.

This romance idea is really amazing, and I'm really really enjoying it so far!

I’ve fallen completely in love with my new #romance novel idea. Theo Irving and Ivy Sinclair are incredible characters.

Also, one benefit of working on a new story is allowing me to clear my head, making the edits on my crime thriller novel so much easier.

I just sat down at my computer and wrote 3,000 words in Chapter 1 of the mainstream romance novel I'm working on, and it felt good. 🙂

I love putting two characters into a situation, and let their dialogue and personal discoveries determine where the chapter goes.
