So many students are simply memorizing content to pass the test but they aren’t conceptualizing it to LEARN the material 😭😭😭 which is… the whole point lolol

Like for me? Back in high school I used to use flash cards but they actually suck for me 😭😭😭

It wasn’t til college I clocked that repetitive writing + explaining concepts to others, essentially teaching others the material, helped me study bc it forced me to conceptualize the material 🤓

Here are a few methods:

- flash cards (visual)
- group study
- repetitive writing
- mind mapping
- active recall
- teaching to others
- explaining concepts in your own words/examples
- creating charts, diagrams, Infograph’s (visual)

Knowing which method is best for you is so important!

I think one major reason why some ppl don’t do well in school is bc they never figured out what method of studying actually helped them retain and COMPREHEND the material.

Gosh when I have children I’m gonna wanna prioritize their reading, writing, and spelling skills so bad 😭

I pray for the flexibility and energy to do it bc I will not be raising children hyper- dependent on technology

I’ll have them writing out definitions from the dictionary if need be 😭

It’s actually so adorable. Men don’t get complimented nearly as much as women do, so it catches them off guard sometimes :)

Tbh when I’m in a function — I realize that when it comes to men, i like to approach the ones I think are cute.

The whole “look at them longer and wait for them to come over” doesn’t always work. But what does always work? Just tapping them on the shoulder and being like “hey you’re cute :)”
