Damn, you can use an AR to make sex toys?

This story has not been seen much in the lower 48.

Using Maryland was a bad example by me. I just find the numbers out of whack in general.
justa9.bsky.social
Texas was Trump +13 while Georgia was Trump +2 but this poll has Trump far less popular in Texas than Georgia.
justa9.bsky.social
-40 in Maryland but -14 in Virgina? This polling is Sus all around.

I think everyone from bsky downloaded yougov lately 🤨
justa9.bsky.social
But -2.2% among 2024 voters in TX? That's one hell of a sampling screen they've got.

Why not write 13.5 million litres? What an odd headline. "Bottle" is not a standard size. Leave non standard measurements to us Yanks.

Since I can't find a good alignment chart that makes my position clear here is an aircraft carrier alignment chart, a fighter jet alignment chart, a tank alignment chart and an alignment charts alignment chart.

 An alignment charts alignment chart.

I'll accept 5" guns too, heck anything down to a 20mm CWIS. But smaller than that is pew pew.

His wife had told him all of this because it was pumped through her Facebook groups that revolves around being a mother to kids with various issues. GOP microtargeting w/ whisper campaigns is really, really good and utterly brazen and shamless about just making up shit they have no plans to do.

People are dumb. This guy I was talking to prior to the election "heard" and was utterly convinced Trump was going to
1. Remove taxes on SSI and SSDI
2. Increase benefits for families with kids who have special needs.
3. Remove all taxes on tips and incomes under 50k.
Amongst other things.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain all this to me. I stopped following space stuff in anything approaching a serious way, circa 2019 due to life and career changes. I never did a deep dive into Artemis before now.

They invented something for that the kids call it 83 or something.

Okay. That makes sense. The HLS lander looks crazy too. Needing an elevator? On the moon? Idk it makes me laugh.

Isn't the LRO able to provide coms from around the backside on an ad hoc basis? Maybe not.

Besides that what would be the point of LCRNS and Lunanet if they want to avoid orbits that go around the back?

And wouldn't it be possible to just drop a dozenish cube sats into lunar orbit to relay coms?
justa9.bsky.social
No I get it so far. Why is so much fuel required? Because it is a south pole landing? That is the part of the mission that seems the oddest to me.
justa9.bsky.social
That seens like a negative. Contractors and private firms have always been a huge part of space flight. I don't see much that is fundamentally different about "new space" firms that would require less transparency than "old space" had. Except the desire to avoid public accountability.

It seems to me, like they should know what they're going to be using to land, if they're planning on landing within the next couple of years.

Thank you for the link. I see he has quarterly updates. I will watch them.

Seems odd that NASA has become more and more tight-lipped over the past decade +. I used to be able to find so much info from them.
justa9.bsky.social
Like shouldn't nasa have a flyong simulator that closely replicates 1/8 gravity and the landers control mechanisms?
justa9.bsky.social
Compare that to
..
This
...

This tells me almost nothing. Astronauts are flying helicopters. Okay? How does that help teach lunar landing skills? Why isn't anyone explaining anything? Why no details? This feels like something designed to make NASA seem cool not to inform me.
