FYI, the photos in this article purported to be of a Central Ave overpass in Shafter are ACTUALLY a Central Ave overpass in Fresno.

Their city is literally already bisected, exactly where CAHSR is going, by both a highway AND a BNSF rail line.

This is NIMBY nonsense, on top of the fact that this article is lying about the photos it is using. The photos it states are in Shafter are of the Central Ave overpass IN FRESNO.

What we just saw: state police not only assisting federal agents with crowd control out here, but also protester arrests.

All morning, this has been a nonviolent demonstration. Have not seen a single crime from this crowd (not that that would excuse the brutality).

Considering that vomit can easily contain pathogens which could seriously injure someone, yes, I consider intentionally vomiting to not be a "non-violent" protest.
