Deniz Gündoğdu has been imprisoned in Edirne Prison with her 18-month-old daughter Asude since July 2. Gündoğdu also has another daughter.
The ECHR says Gündoğdu has committed no crime and the Court of Cassation overturned her sentence,++

Mother of two, Semra Banko, has been in prison since August 24, 2023. Her son Akif, who was only 18 months old at the time, spent five months imprisoned with her. Now he is 3 years old and still waiting to be reunited with his mother in freedom.++

Yasemin Melizci has been held in Sincan Prison with her daughter Saime since January 2021.
Saime, who entered prison at 9 months old, is now 4 and a half years old.
Saime’s father has also been imprisoned for years.++

Since March 2023, Aysel Delican has been in prison with her 3.5-year-old daughter, Gülce.
Her son, Cevdet, also lived in prison with his mother until the age of 6.
With her husband also imprisoned, Aysel Delican’s entire family has been torn apart.

Rumeysa's voice was not heard, and the feared outcome came true. Her imprisoned father, Alzheimer’s patient İbrahim Güngör, passed away in the hospital last night where he had been treated for pneumonia.

Among nearly 1,500 ill prisoners, housewife Ayşe Solak has also been incarcerated. Undergoing treatment for breast cancer, Solak was placed in Aydın Prison after her sentence, based on so called evidence, was upheld. ++
