All the infamous Juni-Q wanted was to be a movie producer and get her film distributed, but a rich and powerful stalker who gets her into the Mariposa Film Festival may be luring her to her doom...

Sequel to Juni-Q and the Secrecy of Desire

Existentially, two and a half tons.
If I was bigger someone would accuse me.
In truth, the novel was in the works for a long time before I asked myself what movie Juni-Q would produce and found my pile of scripts suddenly quite useful.
No, I did not write a whole novel just to pitch my 150-page screenplay Alexandra, My Alexandra, and it's rather annoying that absolutely no one will accuse me of this.

It doesn't take much to fill an author's heart with joy. Just a random plunge on #KindleUnlimited would do...
This movie tried every which way to do something original with the mythology that fit with the previous movies. And sometimes it said, "Ah, fuck it!" and chose the coolest option. Whatever you think, the plot here is way twistier than Legacy.
I have to say, this movie was actually way, way nerdier than Tron: Legacy.

I mean, we all know that the idea that computer operations are bunches of little sentient dudes running around is silly. Who cares? You make your mythology & you stick to it.

This movie definitely expanded the mythology.
I watched Tron: Ares tonight. I adored the original Tron in the 80s. Begged my dad to see it in the theater, settled for VHS a few years later and rewatched it endlessly.

Long story short, I'm glad I went. It would have been a mistake to miss it on the silver screen.
Personally, 2025 has been one of the most insane years in music I've ever encountered.

In just a few months, new (and wonderful!) albums from:

Sparks
Pulp
Stereolab
Wet Leg
Suede
Wolf Alice
Sparks EP!
Last Dinner Party

Bands old and new, but all unified in my musical heart.

Let's gooooo! I'll send it when I get home from work:)
When you have the time, we should trade and give each other nightmares;)
After a table read, some members suffered nightmares and loss of sleep, I'm proud to say!
When you write a horror movie that's too scary...

Of course some great people have! Great humans, but I mean someone who's in the industry or could help get things moving. Screenplays are just plans for a movie, not the final product.
People saying my scripts are "challenging" give me hope that someone great will appreciate them one day.
Absolutely insane how de Palma, Scorcese, Spielberg, Lucas, Coppola and more were just all buddies hobnobbing together at parties before they revolutionized film.
On episode 2 of Mr. Scorcese on Apple TV and this is pure crack. I didn't know he was almost ostracized as a sellout loser for doing Boxcar Bertha for a paycheck, but when he made movies for himself the sheer talent on display truly made him undeniable in a way few can hope to rival.
Ordered! I couldn't get a good screen cap of the back, but you get the idea, same concept as the front.
This time I'm gonna have business cards and a QR code sign for my website, as I saw others doing last time. Maybe I should look into ordering bookmarks too, while there's still time...

I'm pretty sure mine are all marketing. I answered some at first to fuck with the callers, but most are hangups, recorded messages, or AI. I did get to clown one dude pretty awesomely, but I had to get the spam blocker app because the number of calls per day was increasing from 30 to 50 or more!
WTF did I do to these mothereffers?
Aaaaaand a new script concept is born!
I am probably the irrelevant person here, ranting about a woman whose biggest hit was in 1991...
