I understand what you are saying but I have a different outlook. From my perspective, the sky has been falling and its momentum is growing. The military didn’t align against him, it aligned with the constitution and law/order. Today, those precepts are being eroded as we debate on the internet.

It does take time for a dictator to gain footing and wrestle power away from functional government. Trump has controlled the Republican Party for nearly 10 years and is now setting the stage for a full takeover. It’s an extremely precarious place we are in and the danger cannot be overstated.
