I think it's from Neil's time at Barnsley, 1978-80.

I love photos like this. The mind boggles at the conversation which took place between photographer and subjects to arrive at the final shot. Also why no one paused and said..but why though? Another example here.

Who said Mondays were boring? Here's Neil Warnock opening a fruit and veg shop.

E for B and Charlie George. It was always BBC for the Cup Final, wasn't it?

Reckon so. I think Alf Kirchen is standing on the left.

Another from the Arsenal Stadium Mystery. Who can get the players pictured?

Nice still of Highbury from The Arsenal Stadium Mystery (v Brentford, May 1939). You can see the laundry and the original North Bank roof - both were damaged by German bombs two years later.

Some more Derby. Dunno what's happening but it looks a bit lively.

Hudds before the 1922 Cup Final v PNE. No excuse for not playing good football on that surface.

Had a brilliant day here today. Lovely club, lovely people.

Outing players' middle names is something we need to see more of.

People, we are talking all time top place contender here. Deconstructed from its original pea-coated state - MB&O, with MP & beef G - that's left over butty beef, lovingly crafted into gravy in the actual tea bar.

I also associate Ruddles County with BR.

This picture is famous for showing the first game to feature numbered shirts, Arsenal v Sheff W in 1928. But I like it because it shows Herbert Chapman's clock when it was located at the Laundry (North Bank) end of Highbury.
