While drafting my WIP, I was afraid I was too influenced by another writer's voice. Now that I've been away from it for a while, I don't even notice. That's the beauty of this strange, wild process. We can't copy another writer's voice. We can only hone and refine our own—for better or worse!

My guilty pleasure over the past year or so has been watching the TV show Manifest with my son. We know it's an objectively bad show, but we loved almost every sappy minute of it. And I'm so sad we finally got to the end! I'm gonna miss Vance and his disappointed face most of all
