I HATE that I even have to say this BUT....

What does Maine Governor Janet Mills offer? What makes her worthy? How is she any different than centrist Democrats who marched us straight into fascism? Her policies are typical status quo. She doesn't even support #MedicareForAll. Do a lot better 🙄

Maine Governor Janet Mills does not support Medicare for All (a single-payer, federally run health care system).

Mills, a moderate Democrat, has said she supports expanding access to affordable health care but prefers strengthening and building on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) rather than replacing it with a single-payer system.

As governor, she has:

Expanded Medicaid under the ACA (a major campaign promise she fulfilled in 2019).

Supported efforts to lower prescription drug costs and increase rural health access.

Avoided endorsing Medicare for All proposals at the state or federal level.

In short: Janet Mills supports universal access through incremental reforms, not a Medicare for All–style single-payer plan.
