An updated list, mostly. Drag X Drive came out in August. This list has not been updated at all.
If it makes you feel better, it isn’t Day 1 dlc.

You can preorder it day 1, which I do think is a bit dumb, but nothing has release for it other than the preorder bonus clothing reward. All of the DLC’s content is still undated for a release.
This console came out in June. Why are you using March as the benchmark starting point?
At least 3 of our S tiers match. Both Legends Titles and BW2 are goated.
Because hating is more gratifying for attention.
Good game. Much more story driven, you’re not traveling between portions of the city to mark a checklist like normal. The story is moving you from place to place and the city grows and changed as you progress through it and make it do so.

And it run really good on switch 1. Almost no frame drops.
Chikorita. It was nice to use a starter I give flak in its original games be so good in this game’s format because of the change to gameplay.
Yeah it runs near perfectly. Loading screen times are like 5 seconds on average and rarely show up in gameplay. Frame rate is very consistent, and dips only a few frames momentarily in the Mega Evo Boss battles, but like only in specific scenarios for a few seconds of the fight. It runs great.
If that was the basis for the original argument when people were saying the map is a solid model, it was untrue then too. Even on my Switch from 2018, loading screens were like five seconds long and frame rate rarely dipped down from the flat 30 they managed. The complaints weren’t even reflective.

We know now this is utter nonsense but this is indicative of the massive problem that exists in regards to Pokémon, and Nintendo in general.

People post without context and/or knowledge and it spreads, and spreads and people just assume. This has 127k likes...

This is wrong.
This is Pokemon in its best console era. Its character writing has been fantastic for all four new games. The various approaches to art and visuals have carried their own charm, even if I like some more than others. New Pokémon have interested me more than the 3DS rosters ever did. This is peak art.
And it kept throwing something new at me. It build up expectations within the game the trailers never showed, just with background details during different foreground story. There is not a dull character in the story, of the main cast or supporting. Game Freak excels once more in its writing.
After ScarVio and its rougher performance on my Let’s Go Switch from 2018, I was going into this worried performance would have some similar struggles to my experience, but this game has run at a near flawless 30 fps. Barely a dip in the Mega Boss fights. No dip where it mattered most. It’s pretty.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the third best Pokemon game on the Switch, behind PLA because I like catching more than battling, and SwSh, arguably the best Pokemon games of all time.

And being third isn’t bad when it’s also taking a place on my S tier of Pokemon games, turning my Top 5 into a Top 6.
Wii U did have both frames on one screen as a few of the display options for DS games bought on its digital store, so I can see them just doing that again. Only problem is the touch-screen controlled menu interactions. Those would take a whole remake, since an attachment would probably be frowned at
Beyond SV’s poor performance parts being so noticeable and for so long, all other Pokemon games on the Switch run with the smallest of blemishes in the way of frame-rate and load times.

And yeah, this slots up right beside PLA in my top tier of Pokemon games, though I favor PLA more in catching.
Yeah PLZA is a bit of an inverse from PLA in that regard then. Battles are more focused than catching, which has toned itself down from the primary goal it was in PLA. And the real-time battle system is very engaging for on-the-spot decision making. It’s more balanced out now, with battling focused.
Yeah it runs great on Switch 1. Load screen times are like five seconds, frame drops barely occur if at all. I really only notice it in the Rogue Mega Evolution battles but it’s like a second of dip before going back to a pretty consistent 30. I’m withholding on a Switch 2 because it runs so well.
Never been a more intimidating Sedan
“I would have caught the bullet between my teeth. They’re beautiful teeth. Powerful teeth. Bruce Lee would have been jealous of my teeth. I once met Mr Bruce, good fellow. We met and he told me I was an impressive man. He thought I could pull off the same stunts he did. True story.”
Glad to see there’s a pretty general consensus here that no one’s really interested in the steep price expected in a developer age of “exclusivity is dead” because you make money on your software with micro-transactions available on every platform that’ll have you.

Even the safe games won’t stay.
