I studied English Lit in college, but dove into music theory & piano 4-5 years ago. I like to travel, and enjoy laughing. I found this app after using a different one for too long.

No kidding! They’ve made it a common practice to be outraged, while never considering their own behavior.
For some reason, I pictured some kind of high-roller, shaking up the fly like he’s getting ready to play craps.
The bequeathed sheath.

Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.

Arizona AG Kris Mayes: "Our founding fathers placed the power to tax Americans in Congress. They did not believe that we should have a president or king who had the power to tax and to levy these kinds of tariffs that are having a devastating impact on our states."
I’m sure our enemies are pleased by what is happening in America on his watch. He has spread more terror, caused more suffering, than many of them could inflict. Plus, he stresses how he hates more than half of us. Our enemies probably don’t hate that many of us.

“Look at these scumbags — in the car with guns with a baby in the back.”

What are we doing?
Exactly. The right peddles the same BS about SNAP, as if it’s just handed out without looking into a person’s background. For years, we weren’t bringing in enough to afford all our bills, but we made way too much to qualify for any type of help.

This is insane!!!

Private prison companies have documented cases of suing states for failing to meet their contractually guaranteed minimum bed occupancy quotas (often 80–100% full), or else the state must pay for the empty beds.
I can imagine the types of people who thought this was a great idea. They are the same people poisoning other institutions with perverse incentives.

It’s more proof, certain things shouldn’t be based on a profit motive.
It’d be nice to see Dem governors bypass the Repub obstacles to progress, however they have to do it. They’d help people, and demonstrate govt can be responsive to people, instead of sabotaging their lives
When our dog used to do that, he’d glare at us like we caused it, or it was our fault somehow. 😂
She goes down the chute, doesn’t she? 😂

🚨 Our veterans spent months, sometimes years away from their families and friends to protect our country, our homeland. To see the angst they feel now, knowing what has been destroyed by this administration is worse than sickening or tragic — it is an abomination. They deserve SO MUCH BETTER! 💔 1/2
The Repub approach. Rather than adjusting their platform to what the people overwhelmingly want, they plan to eliminate voters, so they can force their platform on everyone. They are like rotten children who only accept the results when they win.

"The Republican Party has created an entirely avoidable mess for itself. By taking a resolute stand in favor of making healthcare unobtainable for many Americans, and now threatening to starve children to achieve that perverse goal, they have made performative cruelty their political calling card."
Mike Johnson's lies keep getting lost in the facts
The shutdown is exposing the speaker's slimy disingenuousness.

I can’t get used to the idea that the US President has ordered multiple strikes on boats, because he thinks they are “bad guys.” No arrests. No trials. He just orders them killed.

I understand the dynamics that have rendered him “above the law.” It’s just unreal.

The shutdown, now at 35 days, has tied the record for the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
The previous record was set by the shutdown that lasted 35 days from December 2018 to January 2019, which occurred during President Donald Trump's first term.
No kidding! A far better future than the present offered by Repubs.
